  • I have a special interest in working with Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder (PTSD) and how it affects our attachment system, emotion regulation, and cognitive processing ability.

I enjoy working with LGBTTFQI+ as it allows me to incorporate a peer perspective as a gay woman.

I also have extensive experience working with addiction and a range of mental health disorders.

Supervision is another specialty of mine; I am passionate about clinician well-being and enjoy the mentoring aspect of supervision.

I have experience working with both novice and experienced clinicians.

  • Together through the assessment phase we will create a plan
that is tailored to your individual needs.

My training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT),
Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Diversity Affirming Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, Addiction Counselling, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy.

Typically I work eclectically, utilising techniques from these different modalities to best meet your needs.

I offer therapy to adults, couples, groups, and young people aged 16+.

  • Research indicates that good therapeutic outcomes are less about the modality or therapist's experience, and more about the relationship you establish.

Building a trusting therapeutic relationship can take several sessions. With this in mind, I can offer a 30 min Zoom consultation to discuss your needs and give you a chance to get a sense of me. Together we can discuss what the work might look like and whether we feel there’s a good enough fit to proceed with booking an assessment.

  • I currently offer appointments on Thursdays and Friday’s 9 am-
5 pm, and evening appointments Monday – Thursday at 7 pm.
Send me an inquiry and I can provide you with details of my current availability

  • I offer both in-person and zoom based counseling so I’m accessible
to everyone. My office for in-person sessions is situated up a flight of stairs, so there is unfortunately no wheelchair accessibility.
